TIVAX STB-T8 DIGITAL-TO-ANALOG TV CONVERTER

On February 17, 2009, off air television stations in the United States must stop broadcasting in analog and begin broadcasting only in digital format. If your current television doesn't have a built-in digital tuner (also known as ATSC tuner) you can purchase the Tivax STB-T8 digital-to-analog TV converter. With the Tivax STB-T8 digital-to-analog TV converter you don't have to throw out your old TV to receive over-the-air digital broadcasts. The Tivax STB-T8 lets you use your analog television with an outside antenna or rabbit ears. The quality of the digital signal is great -similar to the quality you see when watching a DVD. The analog-pass-through feature means you can receive analog TV broadcasts by simply turning the receiver off. Set up is very easy; just undo the cable that goes from your antenna to your TV and attach it to the converter. Once that's done attach the cables from the converter to your television-it's that easy you have digital broadcasts on your analog television. Once attached the converter uses its auto scan feature and automatically finds and stores in its memory the digital TV stations you can receive.Other features include on-screen display in English, French, or Spanish, and on-screen program information. Includes fully functional remote (batteries included) and RF and A/V connectors.
